Introducing... Sleep Party People

YES! We're super excited to announce the latest addition to the Blood and Biscuits family is Sleep Party People!

I first came across this weird and wonderful sound (and sight!) playing atop a stage made of haystacks in a barn in Aarhus, Denmark.
The masked Danish electronic dream-pop outfit, started as an idea in the head of Copenhagen based multi-instrumentalist Brian Batz.
Taking inspiration from the work of Boards Of Canada, David Lynch and Erik Satie, along with some classic movie soundtracks, Brian found the sound of the old battered piano in his apartment, coupled with a freaky electronic alteration of his recorded voice, created a uniquely eerie and hypnotic sound. Since then SPP have been invited out on tour as support to The Antlers, Efterklang and Trentemoller!

Mixing the distorted shoegaze of My Bloody Valentine, the uplifting orchestration of Arcade Fire and the surreal imagery of David Lynch, Sleep Party People are ready to be everyone's favourite new band!

Their new album 'We Were Drifting On A Sad Song' is out April 9th on Blood and Biscuits and is available to Pre-Order NOW.
